Default Harmonic Balancer

Just a curiosity question:

What advantages are there to using an expensive aftermarket balancer versus a stock balancer?

if you race, then a good aftermarket one often is not a 2 piece like oem which uses a rubber insert to hold two pieces together, with age they get out of center and often wobble, a good aftermarket won't have such an issue.

i used to think it was no big deal, but look for some comparisons somewhere. the difference in vibrations is pretty huge.
