Default 87 Mustang 5.0 LX

Hi,
I am new here and a mopar guy but I have always liked the 5.0 mustangs. Also mopar stuff is so expensive you guys have it good. Anyways I am thinking of buying a 87 Mustang 5.0 LX but it has 180k on it for like $2200. It is lowered with flows and looks really nice. I am worried about the mileage. If I drive it for awhile and it blows up what is a ballpark for a rebuild? I saw long blocks on line for 1300. What would you do? Wait for a lower mileage car?
Thanks,
Rob

foxes in that price range won't be low mileage, if you wait for a lower mileage one the price will also be higher most likely.

if it isnt smoking too bad and the body is clean drive it til you kill it.

i have 150k and spray my car all day long. i am spraying my 3rd mustang and all were over 100k

if you pop the motor stroke it... best option really for the money
