Thanks for all the inputs. I think I'm just going to buy a block with forged pistons and build the rest with AFR heads, TF upper/lower intake, roller rocker/lifters ect. What do you all recommend for a cam? By the way looking to get 350 - 400 HP.

The X cam from FMS is tough.. nice medium lobe matched w/ x heads, sounds really good..really good.

best type of cam would be a custom grind. or look at comp cams, they are generally good, i just cant remember which one specifically that alot of ppl swear by
