horse power mods?
I also have a 95 gt 5.0 and i am looking for some cheap mods. I'm going with cut out cats and run some flowmasters into the stock exhaust. also i know i need to run a cold air. I have heard some of the later explorer intakes and heads( i know they ran the 5.0 in the exploders untill 2002? i heard they have gt40 heads) will help with some flow. I also have a no2 system on my 67 and I have been thinking about running a wet system on my 95 with the same bottle. (any cheap systems with out a bottle around a 50-75hp?) I was also going to go to a edelbrock performer rpm cam shaft ( i have one in my 351w cougar)
Transmission and drivetrain mods
auto transmission are a little beyond me the only higher hp cars i have had with a auto was my supra and i left the trans stock. I was thinking about a shift kit and a 2500 rpm stall converter. any suggestions? how much will a stock auto trans take (i know this verys on miles and the car taken to it but i get an idea?)
diff? I dont know what diff my car has can i tell via the vin? I was looking for something between a 4.11 to 3.75 but if its lower than say a 3.55 i will not mess with it.

suspension?
I was thinking about some light rear shocks and a ebiock drag pack kit. i am running nitto nt555r tires at the moment.

If your car has a stock rear end, its not going to have anything higher than 3.27... and your vin is the wrong place to be looking.

yup, if the tag is still there.

you can also find the code on the sticker in the doorjam, on the drivers side.

should be an E, M or X
