94 gt reliability

Default 94 gt reliability

Im thinking about picking up a 94 gt automatic i found on craigslist this week and was wondering what kind of reliablility or know issue to look for...

its an auto, 131k miles and mainly what are the trannys good for mileage wise...

and like i asked what about any know issue to look for when i check her over...

If it was well maintained it will last you a very long time.
Just do all of your Maint again even if the last owner said they did it.

Bushings should be on the list as well as checking out the brakes.

You can make a free FS ad on Ebay and it will have the cars history up for free in an AutoCheck report, it would be worth your time to do that or just pay for a carfax.

Post some pics up, also how much are they asking and what are the options/colors?

ill have to get the vin to check it out

new rear tires, fronts at about 20%, repainted a few years ago, couple scratches on front bumper and a kinda bid ding on the rear bumbper but i think that will pop out

he says it has a mild cam, has msd ignition and custom exhaust

i was planning on doing a trade, from what im trading and what he's offered up with the car i'd say the car plays around $3,000 in trade in the deal

is that a fair price or grossly overrated?

i cant seem to find a way to edit but, he said they only put like 15 miles on it since he got it...

said him and his dad bought to turn into a drag car but his dad passed away

im sorry again,

now he is telling be odometer is broken so sometime between 04/04/2005 at 127,613 and when u guys got it at 10/10/2006 with 131,188 it went out so mileage could be as high as 150k depending on how much previous owner drove it

what do u guys think

Gear kit to repair odometer is less than $50. Takes a hour to fix with inexperience.

That is what the repair kit looks like. Pretty straight foward, gears usually come with instructions.
