To be honest, I am no longer a big fan of the GT-40 heads. The intake is fine, but the heads, from my experience are trash-better than the E7's of course. My numbers w/the GT-40 heads, GT-40 intake, CAI and exhaust: 233rwhp/283rwtrq. Best 1/8th(on 3.08's): 9.44@76. Save for some aluminum heads and a good Comp Cams, Lunati or custom cam. You'll be much happier with the results than the GT-40 heads and single pattern E-cam.

That's so weird to see someone say that because my initial plan was to go for GT-40 heads, an E-303 cam, & a cobra or aftermarket intake.

I'd like to find a thread or website that has different parts listed & get reviews and/or hp gains from them.

that combo bolted on typically yields 250-270 rwhp depending on supporting mods, not a real winner.........over on the corral.net there are plenty of builds to compare to

Yep the Corral has plenty of combo's. And there are a lot of GT-40 lovers over there too. Don't know why though.

Here's some of my numbers out of my two cars-stages:
. 1995 Mustang AODE
- GT-40 intake, 75mm MAF, 70mm TB, UDP's, CAI, full exhaust, 4.10's = 219rwhp/267rwtrq
9.39@79 1/8th
- Trickflow TW heads, 1.6 rockers = 244rwhp/289rwtrq
9.33@80 1/8th
- Trickflow Stg-1 cam, PI stall, 190lph pump, 30lb injectors = 271rwhp/311rwtrq
8.44@85 1/8th
- Vortech supercharger, 2.95 SC pulley, AFM PP, 90mm MAF = 396rwhp/431rwtrq
7.57@91 1/8th

. 1995 Mustang GTS
- rebuilt 306, full exhaust, K&N, 3.08's = 9.77@71 1/8th
- GT-40 heads, 94-95 Cobra intake = 9.44@76 1/8th
233rwhp/283rwtrq
- rebuilt 306(again), Edelbrock E-Streets, Comp XE264HR cam, CAI,
tune = 9.0@83 1/8th
284rwhp/322rwtrq
