Default 331 Stroker!

Well after a long search of what to do, i ran into a great deal with a good friend who is selling me his 331 stroker kit with a block and edelbrock performer rpm heads (about to be ported) for $800. My question is what kind of cam should i use? the max on stock parts for the head is .575 but i have to buy springs and i can buy lifters too to make a bigger cam work. I have a cam that with 1.6 rocker arms the valve lift is .727 and .688. Could i make this cam work or should i just use a different cam? I would like to be able to run mid 11s and my suspencion and drive train is built and ready so the only problems is the motor. thx

get a custom grind specifically tailored to your parts, and the results you wish to get out of your car

Some math has to be wrong? That lift with a 1.6 damn? What cam is it?
With those heads u dont need antthing bigger than a .550 really or a tad more. Wont flow anymore! But depending on the port job it will!

Even with those heads ported,as stated a cam that big would be pointless. Call somebody and tell them your specs and have a cam ground, jay allen, bullet cams, etc.
