Default Progress so far

Hey guys,

Haven't been around much. personal life has been crazy. But I got a few things done on the mustang.

So I had a nasty spun bearing issue with the motor currently in the mustang, so I found a good spare motor to rebuild. a latemodel explorer motor with low miles.

I made this quick video to show the process I went through to rebuild it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BZGVcDlfVo

The mustang hasn't been touched, so I still have a lot of work to do. today I will be pulling the exhaust, driveshaft, transmission, bell housing, clutch, and flywheel. Then it should just be a matter of getting some more free time, Probably next week, and I will pull the motor out.

I will be sure to post up pictures or video of the carnage I find when I get that motor apart, as im sure it will be pretty severe.

Thanks for reading/checking out my video

Rob

they call it a 3.25" cowl, but then in the features they say because of where the cowl starts and such, its as much room as a 4" cowl provides.

My intake was rubbing my stock hood, you can see that in the link above with all the pictures, and now its not even remotely close. I'm pretty sure i can get another 3" of intake under there no issue.

I plan on putting together a cardboard box the size of the intake and measure it out to be 3' to 4" and set it on top of my current intake to see if it clears.
