I have a pod set with three guages that I need to wire up. A couple of the wires have to go to the ignition switch or be hooked directly into the fuse box.

Which wire from the ignition switch is HOT?

If I decided to hook into the fuse box and just install an inline fuse, how do I wire into the fuse panel? Someone told me I could just wrap the wire around a fuse and then plug the fuse into the appropriate spot simply as an anchor to hold the line.

Any ideas on what would be the best way to do this?

In all honesty I was actually wanting to wire these guages in with the headlight switch so they wouldn't light up until I turn the headlights on.
