whenever im driving with my hand on the shifter, automatic, im feeling a little breeze, to me seems like there is air coming up from the shifter. when the ash tray compartment is open i can feel air coming up from there as well.

any one ever dealt with this or heard of this before? is there a weatherstrip surrounding the shifter under the center console that could have possibly worn through?

there is a rubber base boot that surrounds it, remove console and inspect it for being torn or missing
