^exactly,all depends on your use for it. No need to gear the **** out of it for the street....just my opinion.

holley systemax is a nice intake, a lot of people seem to like the trickflow stage 1 cam

but you did..... you would have lost 250 more rpm on 4.10's, but removed all bog

assuming you had 2.73's before... on the 3.73 it'll be like running around on the freeway at about 750 rpm less as you sit. thats how much top end you already lose. your giving up 80% of what youd lose with 4.10's anywyas... and still bog on sticky tires.

I have a TF Track Max Stage 1 cam for sale, brand new in box, never used or installed. My build plans changed and I ended up dropping in a Comp Cams xe247hr. I'd let the TF cam go for $150

FWIW I like my 3.73's, but then again, I'm running a TKO-600, so my transmission gearing is all different, and I do a lot of long highway driving, so that several hundred RPM drop saves me from going crazy doing 3500+ rpm all the time with my 3" exhaust.

IIRC, the 3.73's were a bit awkward when I still had the T-5 in. 1st was useless, but 2nd still didn't feel quite right at lower speeds, and 5th was still terrible...
