Transmission for Fox Mustang
I have a 90 Fox LX with ~69K miles. It has ~330 HP / Tq to the rear wheels. I built it to road race, but also like drag racing. The car has a T-5. Up to now, I granny shift the car because I didn't want to break the transmission. I think my shifting methods are slowing the car down too much. I have decided to start power shifting the transmission & if I break it, I will replace it.
I am going to kep it manual. Any comments as to what to replace it with? I am considering a G-Force syncro style and a Kesler RS 600. Anyone using a Kesler RS 600 yet?

I drag raced for 2 yrs with a stock T5 powershifting it....lucky?Maybe,never heard of Kesler, but G force makes a good product. Also Liberty, but thats probably going a little farther than you need to.
holyshift, your success with the T-5 is not the norm. I here of breakage way more than success. Sooooo, you must know what you are doing. Would you be kind enough to describe what you do, or don't do, that might have lead to longer transmission life?
