New Starter for "New" Cobra
Hello All,
I recently acquired a beautiful 95 Cobra. It's in nearly perfect condition, however the starter is definitely struggling, just a little, to start the car. On the recommendation of a good friend of mine, he suggests replacing the starter. However when doing some quick research on places like Summit Racing there are a lot of options, both upgraded and straight replacement. If I'm going to replace it, I figure I may as well go with an upgraded high output unit. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, are they a difficult to install? My experience with replacing starters is limited to straight replacement parts on 90's box body Crown Vics. Thanks in advance!

No the 94/95 started the smaller higher torque starters 2 bolts 1 nut and and a female plug. If you had a fox you would choose to upgrade to an SN style starter. But there's no need to upgrade on an SN car!
