hey btw, hows the OPS doing?
lol....the ops is still sitting on my bench at work, I have transfered all the good gears on mine over to it, but assembly stopped months ago as I have not bought a new third gear or a few other needed bearings....in the next month I hope to finish it, haven't had a real need to put it back together as when this all went, I just put a tremec 3550 I had sitting in the 85....but soon I 'll finish it if money is there

http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/in...topic=148510.0 take a look they are the Summit brand. the guy has been around for years on lots of boards so I dont think he would be much of a risk to buy from.

haha understandable

i just built the rear for the '33

4.30's BABY!!!!!!!!!! (going with a ~28" tall tire).

im hopefully gonna save up enough scratch for the T56 Magnum here within the next month or so.

maybe a few more trips out to TX and FL to get a little bit more in the paycheck... my wife hates me rofl.

she went down to FL for a week and a half while i was working and never shut up about how nice it was and now ive been nagging dispatch for all the runs down there cause the money's easy and a day off by the ocean aint a bad way to go

So , I've done some more work, removed accessories, installed oil feed fitting, tapped pan for oil return, and flushed pan and drained oil and removed filter, next up is either install ignition/crane box, change plugs, install s/c bracket and head unit, but first I need to remove my old balancer and wait until new one gets here...until then..stay tuned progress pics here:

oh , I will, probably gonna be at least another 2 weeks until it's done, I'm in no hurry, when I come home from work, I do a little here and there, I decided to do it in my garage at home rather than at my shop on a lift, this way if I get tired, I just shut the light off and walk in side

carefully.....I did a practice run on a small piece of metal and used a punch to slowly enlarge the hole then when it came time to run the npt tap , you pack it with grease and on the trial run not 1 shaving hit the floor, on the pan I did the same then fished a magnet up in there and retrieved no shavings then I flushed it with a quart of oil, so should be good
