Well on a dedicated nitrous car you want your base as low as you can get it,as long as it still does a burnout, etc. With your timing at 37(I think is high but whatever) and wanting to spray 150? Id pull at least 6-7 to start. But as stated I don't know how the whole computer deal is gonna act. Anyways, put new plugs in,make a run, shut it off and pull the plugs, look at what ya got and tune on from there. There IS a such thing as too much fuel, rich does not mean safe in a nitrous tune.

You shouldnt be much over 30-33* whats your base set on the ecm only advances 20* from bas +-3* .thats why efi you can spray 150 on 10* base. One heatrange colder plug and better than ur 91 octane there u will be good. If you go over 150 8* base and you can be good for 200 on 100 octane. The hyper forged war is crap there almost equal pending amount of silicon used in the alloy. The main thing is timing and fuel. Then ofcourse whats your weakest link! The rule of thumb is 2* every 100hp nitrous but dont pull any out unless you go over 150.

There is no computer, 91 bottom end, AFR 165's, Stealth Intake, Road demon Jr. Carb., Stock Cam, 1.7 Comp Roller Rockers & Long tubes. I have an MSD 6al2+ that delivers nasty digital spark & its 34* total advance (37* was a typo). I want to use a Zex wet system tuned for 125hp.

Be careful with the 2 degrees for every 100.....thats old school stuff, just as well as the old NOS jet charts are actually way fat. Just watch your plugs....nuff said.

how are you making 401hp with stock pistons? wouldnt you have upgraded them when you did a bottom end change? i know the heads didnt pick up that much on a stock short block, im just not seeing it with the factory compression ratio and afr 165s

the whole thing from the heads down is 100% stock. Check it out.

I had all this stuff and was going to do a cam not rockers, then I read the above article. I did the rockers and ran it on the dyno. 401/ 377 is what it spun. I'm new to Nitrous and this forum. Not SBF Hp buddy.... That's @ the flywheel also not the wheel. Now all those fuel injection parts look like a fat waste of money right??
