you do not need coilovers. Get a good set of springs and shocks, and you will be fine.

thanks. wat about the tubular k-member? and what springs? i have steeda superlite sport springs and bilstien shocks and struts in it now (came in the car when i bought it). but the top coils of the front springs are collapsed on to each other and when i hit bumps they make like a rattle noise.

H&R Supersports are nice. My Eibachs sagged like a **** and the ride quality sucked. I'm now on Eibach Drag springs.

The rattling noise you hear is more likely coming from your camber/caster plates.

As for a K-member. Its not a bad thing to swap. If you want to really lighten up the front, you can run the AJE Racing K-member, which has A-Arms with spring cups. It is not necessary to swap the A-arms either. I am currently running stock arms on my car, with a QA1 K-member. After I get home I'll be switching over to some fox control arms (Don't ask), and might go tubular....

Normal noised from c/c plates. My old Hotchkis plates did it, my current FRPP plates do it, and Im certain my new J&M plates will too.
