Supercharger questions
I have been reading a lot of articles claiming 400 hp out of the 302 and I was thinking about getting a stroker kit for my 1994 mustang; but, it looks like throwing a Kenne Belle supercharger on it might be easier and quicker. I just want to get some input on my currents setup and how well it might work with the Kenne Belle. I would also like to know what else I might have to change to get it running correctly with the supercharger, like injectors, fuel pump ect. Right now I am running GT-40 Iron heads, B303 Cam, 65mm TBody, HO Intake, off road H-pipes. Smog and EGR are already deleted. Everything else on the motor is stock. I know I can get the GT40 lower intake pretty easy, but I would like to know what (if anything) I would have to change in order to get the best results from a Kenne Belle blower. I look forward to hearing what you have to say.
On a side note I was also thinking about pulling the heads off to port and polish them and would like to know if any of you have done it and if it's worth the trouble. I have been battling with what my next move should be to get a little more power outta my pony. Thanks in advance guys.

Depends, if you buy used **** then yes! A331 kit for 900$ and a TFS topend kit 2500 has a new blower beat by 2k!
And will be pretty close on a bobo 302 with 10lbs boost!
The best would be the 1500$ turbo kit but how cheap are they? and you still have to dump 1000$ in upgrades!

I think the KBs go for around 3000 with the MAF and most of what I would need. I would get a used blower but around here the people that are selling them want almost as much as I can get one new, and there are not too many folks around here selling them. Wouldn't I have to put an intercooler and all that in if I got a turbo? From what I have ready the twon screw s/c doesn't have any lag like a turbo would. I really just want the cheapest/fastest upgrade. What else would I have to beef up anyway in order to run forced induction s/c or Turbo?

agreed. prolly cheaper than a kb and makes more power. after a on3 kit i'd say piece together a vortech kit. if i could go back in time I deff would of done this to my '95 instead of spending way more on a stroker and making less power than a power adder car.
