a/c removal question
i have a 89 5.0 5 speed im trying to take out the a/c system i have the condensor out but its still held in by the lines..is there a tool to get the lines off? i kno the a/c dont work but was gonna take stuff to the junk yard but didnt kno if id get more if it was in tacked..cuz ill just cut the line if i have too..and i have a blinker problem i put in a bulb in the front driver side and it pops..it worked fine but dont even kno where to begin to find a shorted wire...fuse mabey? thx
You can go to any major Auto Parts stores and ask them for there AC/Fuel disconnect tool and that will release the line.

^^ yup...buy the whole set. you'll only need 2 of them for your car
the bigger for the AC and one of the smaller ones will do the fuel rail if you ever need to remove the lower intake or fuel rails (or the opposite whatever)
