Is there another brand that I would still have the supercharger whine? Are turbo's a lot of maintenence? Do they cause more engine damage? You guys know your stuff, and I don't really know anything about forced induction. All i know is hearsay, and thats part of what i picked up. I dont want to be miscontrued as a know it all. I'm just asking questions.

 

If turbo's were high maintenance, or inherently harmful to engines... do you think they would have come stock on so many cars? Hell, the mustang came turbo charged at on time!

 

Would i be able to keep my stock hood? What all will i need? I'm not opposed to it. Would i have to relocate things to make room?

 

I think this is about the time where we suggest you contact a performance shop... It seems as though most of this will be way too much for you.

Get a turbo and no one will have a clue and they will see nothing but taillights
Like adder said ford built turbo cars and some run 8's on a stock bottom end 2.3
The only drawback with a turbo is you will make too much power lol!
