Default Coolant venting procedure

Any special way of venting these 5.0s? I know in my mach1 it was a pain I'm the butt. I changed the coolant temperature sensor yesterday and I'm thinking it might have moved a slug of air in there, today I turned it on to warm it up and the temp went up to about 230. So do I just let the car cool off, take the radiator cap off, turn on the car and add water to maintain level until it burps?

What ive done is leave the coolant line that goes up to the tb off, since its the highest point on the motor. Fill the rad completely with that hose off, that way the motor will completely fill and the air will escape out the hose.

Then when the rad cannot take any more, hook the hose back up, put the rad cap on, fill the over flow, and givver.

Thanks guys, I'll try it tomorrow. If anything I'll life the car up a little from the front to try and make the radiator the highest point in the system.

Looks like it worked guys. Started the car with the radiator cap off and just added water to maintain level until fully warmed up, running nice and cool now, thanks again.
