Basic list: Torque boxes, check for bent, beat or rust.
Floor pans, look for rust.
Check front seat rear leg mounting areas, they tend to crack away from the bolt holes.

Also check the front radiator support for signs of crash damage. I have looked at quite a few with booger weld fixes from front end crashes.

Pretty much this.

Also check the rear wheel wells for rust, bottoms of the doors, and the back edges of the hatch if it's a hatch.

Goodluck, if it is a decently built 408 it should have some *****.

i went and looked at it today. it had very little rust. gets bout 4 miles to the gallon. the only question i have now before getting it is if i decide to sell it due to gas or i jus end up not liking it how quickly do these cars sell if they are clean on the exterior(new paint, head lights tail lights wheels all clean) decent interior, an clean under the hood? and how much they ussaly sell for. just wanna make sure my assets arent going down.
