My speedo was not working correctly and we figured out it was the cable. So I have the old one off, but the clip that holds the cable in the speedo gear and sensor area is not in the best of shape. I called a ford dealership and they said it looked like ford did not make the little clip anymore. Its literally just thicker gauge of wire. Anybody have one or know where I can start to look in the after market business. Thanks.

 

Late Model Restoration sells them. I got mine when I purchased a new speedometer gear, I am sure they sell them individually. Autoparts stores should also carry it.

 

Alrighty, I did not get a chance to go to one today. I only got to call the guy at the dealership so I am not even sure if he knew what I was talking about. I do remember seeing the gear so if I have to get a new one o well, I recall it was cheap. Thanks.
