lol, my boss installed the crank, rods and pistons. I did the rest. He has built probably a thousand engines in his life including a 2800 horse engine before so, I thought I could learn something. And I did.

Well, it is almost 10 pm and the tuner still hasn't called so, I guess that means he hasn't blown it up yet. I was excited to hear he just got all his stuff back from sct including a new 02 sensor. I just put a new sensor in mine so we can compare.

Tuner called today and said he is tuning with a tweecar since his sct stuff is hasn't come in yet. First pull he claimed he made 380hp and 410tq with no timing and pig rich. He called wondering what kind of power i wanted to make? I told him 420 to 450 would be good. He said we should get there pretty quick. So, we will see.

lol, by god I hope he doesn't blow it up. He still hasn't called so, I guess that is a good thing. If he calls telling me to bring a mop to get the oil off his floor, I am going to be pissed.
I really miss my baby but, I ain't gonna call and bother him. I can see him saying to himself right after I check on it, "well, the price just went up for rushing me."
And I have had a car, I was just afraid for a long time that people would come steal it if I put it on the web.......not really, I am just emabarrassed for how it looks. I want it perfect but, it ain't ever gonna happen.

I couldn't stand it, I found an excuse to call. He said at at 5200 it is making 7.5 pounds of boost. He added a degree and a half of timing and the power jumped to 410hp and 420tq. He claimed he could do more but, he is going to stop it there because the air temps are starting to rise.
He claimed eventually I need to pull air from the fender and that I need to make an effort to hook up the meth.
So, I am going to start making a shopping list.

valve cover/catch can mods
tires
then take it back for a check-up
EDIT: he said I also need to get rid of the stock size tailpipes.

Something is up somewhere though. The tuner said there becomes a point to where the power levels off and I am still building boost. He didn't understand why it was doing that. So maybe the air can't get out fast enough?
