93 Restro the sequel

well thanks! I was told it needed to be rebuilt when I purchased the car. It has held up so far but 2nd and 3rd are starting to grind even when the clutch is fully engaged. My biggest issue with it is at high rpm (racing usually) it gets stuck between 3rd and 5th when I go to hit 3rd hard.... biggest fear is shattering it next time out on the slicks. I am by no means easy on my car and I drive it on a daily basis.

I am that way on mine too. Back when it was stock, it wasn't that bad on it. Now I am starting to see a tremec in the near future when the funds allow it....Which pretty much means a good night at the casino.lol
The tuner text me today letting me know he got the dyno straightened out. I will probably go get it this weekend sometime.

Well, finally got the car. The tail-pipes, bigger meter and powerpipe made a difference. We ran into some trouble with a bad rpm chip and kept missing each other with our schedules but, we finally got it going again.
Tuning it on a 95 degree vs a 70 degree day and with lower timng than the last tune it made 30 more horse. It pulls hard all the way to redline. Last tune it seemed to give up around 5200 but now, it keeps going all the way to 6k. I'm happy with it I guess. Still doesn't have the tq of the kb but, I believe the car has speeded up. Well......I know it has 70 horse
Now I can't wait till cold weather. Wonder what 40 degree temps would do???

Thanks, me too.
He may have bumped his head because, he did it fairly cheap. I got an aluminum sct meter, adapter for the air filter to meter, the pigtail adapter and the tune all for 500. That is 330 in just parts. Plus he put the meter and filter on himself.
