Well I tried getting him to lower the price by pointing out that it's not what he thinks it is, but the kid is an idiot.
I told him I was worried about running ebay turbos on a stock engine with 146000 miles and he told me that I wouldn't talk him out of his car because he knows there's "28 grand in the engine and tranny alone" and that he's got 3 more people interested
I also told him that the kbb value is only around 3000 and his response was "yeah, bro i have been sponsoring racing cars since i was 9 not little cars like mine, so i know quite a bit"
Thanks a lot for all the help everyone, I'm still new to the whole car scene and i can't really spot a good deal from a bad one all that well lol. Thanks for keeping me from wasting my money :P

But...I know a kid here in Pittsburgh that is a total moron and had paid a shop 5k to do a port job on e7s... there are real idiots out there that may have spent that much money.
Regardless.... price is NOT justified by idiocy.

well if your into some fake rice rocket shtuff then thats all you.., but me i would never pay for that! if you really have $10k to fork over why dont you just buy an OK or original 5.0 and use the $8k leftover to do your own mods!!! thats my 2 cents!!

Yep. Seems we're talking about the same hard headed idiot. His attitude on the matter also made me walk away from this vehicle. Not only that but he didn't like the fact that I told him I had an NA motor with barely 3g's into it that'd spank his turbo'ed car.lol
