Default motor mounts

is there any advantage to swapping to solid motor mounts versus urethane mounts?

not that i am disagreeing with you but could you explain how that would help? i am just trying to make sure i am on the same page. here is what i am thinking and i may be wrong... with solid motor mounts sub frame connectors and strut tower brace should take most of the flex out of the car and the mounts instead of the motor rocking over on revs and hard acceleration it would put that torque through the drive train. thus with all this done should put more horsepower and torque to the tires. does this make sense? am i correct?

You are on track with the idea. The problem with solid mounts is they are not very street friendly. They cause too much vibration.

if it's a street/strip car, use the urethane mounts, no need for solid for such intended use.
