Default Help:

I recently purchased a 87 convertable gt, and the car does not quit feel as fast as it should be, but when i got the car the timming was screwed up and now I have it set at like 10 or 12, also the trcklock doesnt work cause the passenger tire is the only one that will burn off. If anyone could give me a few pointers that would be great, Thanks

When my limited slip did that I changed the fluid with synthetic and it started working again.

If the car doesn't feel like it is pulling through the rpms like it should, try taking a plug out and looking at it. When I bought mine with a 100k on it, it wouldn't pull past 5200 rpm. The plugs were white from being run lean. I bought a fuel filter and found that the original fuel filter was still on the car. It was so stopped up that I was surprised that it even ran.

After that it would pull through the rpms as far as I wanted to turn it.
