Shift Kit?

Shift Kit?
Wondering if anyone has any expirence with the Performance Automatic Shift Kit for an AOD. I know, I know. It'll still be a slush-box and I should drop in a T-5, but I got a mortgage and a family so a little better auto is better then nothing for now. LOL. So, just curious if anyone's tried something similar.

Just get the PA vlv body, the MAIN issue with the AOD is the vlv bodies. You will extend the life of the tranny either way the vlv body as a unit is easier to install as for "you should swap to a t-5" wtfe lol!
The shift kit you have to break the vlv body down and keep track of the check ball locations and consist of some drilling at angles thru the port walls with a special sized drill bit you will have to find at a hardware store! Drill it wrong buy another unit replace the check ***** in the wrong place it wont shift correctly if at all.

well iv used a transgo shift kit which also comes with an install video!! I did it and loved the way the aod felt afterwords!! Since you arent trying to spend too much money i would do that..., i think those valve bodies that come built are like $400 or more, the transgo is less than half that..!
