So bottom line, should I stick to 93 or upgrade the system to e85?

I've never run e85, what you can do is run your current set up on gas, dyno it and see where the duty cycle comes in at and add 30 percent more from that and see if you have enough room for error

Yeah that sounds like a plan. Hopefully the stock transmission doesnt blow up on the dyno

VERY unlikely... The dyno doesn't hit the transmission very hard like a drag launch.
