3.73's or 4.10's??

Definitely not worried about the fuel economy since I really only drive it on the weekends anyways...not like I will ever be going over the speed limit...sometimes lol

Not going to be enough difference in the fuel mileage to know it......

ive got 3.55's only because i found a tbird rear for cheap. but i would rather have 4.10s

Default laid down

just had 373s installed replaced 355s, added recalibration tool from ford, not much diff. between the sizes but expected some diff. especially bottom end torque, 1st gear lays down can't reach redline, just a dog any thoughts would be appreciated. 07 gt 4.6.

However , I will tell you that going from 3.55s to 3.73s is minimal at best. Its like a 1/4 turn of the drive shaft difference , and only a very slight difference , so slight it may not even be noticeable.

As for it laying down it first gear , you may be reaching hitting the limiter a touch sooner. At what rpm does the engine take a dump? The rev limiter in those is designed to keep it out of the red. Im fairly sure the limiter is set to 6200 0n those cars, but if its cutting at say 4k or so check to make sure your traction control is off. Also I believe with a gear swap the ecu needs to be recalibrated on those cars.

Your going to want more go with the 4.10's.... Sometimes I could kick my self in the *** for not taken them when I had a chance ? I got 3.55's i'm happy with them but 4.10's will give it some bad *** pull !

I may want to add a supercharger down the road...will 4.10's be ok with forced induction?

Depends. How much boost? I know a lot of guys that would go with 3:73. But, if you can get it to hook on the line, 4:10's with a blower would haul *****
