Default Best intake manifold to use w/ vortech supercharger
What is the best intake manifold to use the Vortech supercharger? It is a 5.0 with Edelbrock heads and crane cam 1.7 rockers

what ever intake you have.......boost will overcome most defficencies

It has a GT40 intake but, stops pulling around 5500 RPMs

You'll make about 25 more horse power with the Victor Jr. or a Trick Flow "R" series over the GT40. Do a quick google search for intake shoot out. I don't remember which magazine it was but they bench tested the popular brands and used the GT40 as the standard. Whats the cam spec your running?
