i was at a swap meet the other day and i bought a Ford hood scoop. the numbers on the back are 2 R33 16C628 AAW. it also has the number 1012-01. it also says Made in Canada. does anybody know what i have .? it is complete with the grille and all of the nuts to bolt it on. thanks for any help with this.

A picture would help here, but if you think it's a 82 GT scoop, I wouldn't plan your retirement off it lol. If that's what you bought it for. Otherwise just bolt her on and enjoy.....

88 orangepeel i did not buy it for my retirement. i am already retired. i bought because i though it looked cool and its in perfect cond. i would post pics. but i am not very computer friendly. e-mail is about it. a guy that i worked with has a 1983 Mustang GT Convert.he says that its 1 of 900 something. he bought a scoop like mine off of evilbay for $200.00. i am thinking he might have over paid. i got mine for $40.00. i might put it on the 67 Mustang coupe that i have or maybe i will use the Torino scoop that came with my car. thanks for the help.
