6r80 question

6r80 question
Is it normal to lose rpm in 3rd gear with a stock 6r80? Under low acceleration it'll lose ~250-300rpm and at half throttle it will seem to stay at the same rpm for like half a second then continue increasing. Also is 205-215 trans temp normal? It seems a bit high to me (I don't know much about these as I went form a 3v to this). 2015 mustang gt with 14k miles

Any time the TCC locks up, you lose ~250 RPMs. TCC will not be commanded to lock up
before 2nd gear on the 6R80. Lockup is available in second gear and up.
The temperature should not be higher than 200 ideally. For every 20 degrees you go over 200
degrees you cut the life span of the transmission by a factor of two. The best way to combat
excessive heat is to install an aftermarket transmission cooler.
