Pre summer blues - body control module - please help!
Mustang Forum Help
Hello everyone! So my S550 has been in the shop for an excessive amount of time. By excessive I mean, well I’ll keep it G rated..a very long time, in fact it’s been over half a year now. It is at a Ford repair shop so you can imagine my surprise as to why it’s still there. But I digress. They said that the body control module needs to be replaced and when they are programming it for some reason it’s telling them to calibrate the 5th and 6th wheel, whatever that means which I’m guessing is the PSI or something but I could be wrong. They’ve been back and forth with Ford engineers for weeks now so I’ve about given up on them figuring it out and hoping someone out there could assist in shedding some light on how to fix this or what I should say/do regarding this whole situation. Note that this is the second module they got and once again verified that it is the correct one for my car. Thoughts and suggestions anyone? Much thanks in advance, I desperately miss my car.
