Default melted off some rubber

The temps finally dropped below 100 tonight so I took the 5.0 out for a hard drive.
Turned off tcs and really spun through a few fast turns with my stock all seasons.
All I can say is...this car loves loves to punish tires...I see about 10k miles out
Of em maybe 15k! I imagine the 19 inch summer rubber will have an even shorter life!

Hahaha! Yea limited too everything but the car sitting in a garage and not moving. Pulling up with slicks after 10k miles might raise a few questions.

I see the P-Zeros as dealer standard tires for 'Stangs.
Are these good tires? Or are they pretty much disposable and you might as well just peal em off and burn 'em up and buy better ones?

I had my P-zeroes on for a grand total of 3 days. I don't think they're necessarily bad, there's just better options out there.

You have to keep in mind, the dealer/Ford has to balance tire performance and cost. You the consumer do not. But paying for expensive tires all the time gets old fast.

I don't doubt that at all. Paying just $500 for a set of four okay tires is not cheap, considering that after 6 sets, you could have bought an SC or some other really useful power upgrades.
