ignition problems

Question ignition problems

I got this 88 GT, some tweekers tried to steal it (long story short) they destroyed the ignition. I put in a 90 steering column, every thing bolted up fine and all the electrical wires had the same connectors except the air bag.( not worried about) when i turn the ignition i blew a fuseable link. Any body got any ideas how to fix this?

Sell the car buy a 2011...lol.. This is the 2010-2011 forum not an 88 mustang forum...no one knows the answer to your question....

Time to trade up your old Fox body and get the recently brought back 5.0. That will fix your ignition problems, and you sure will not be disappointed! Even though the S197 is a much heavier vehicle than your Fox, you will be amazed at how well it handles, how smooth the drive is, and how much power the stock '11 GT has!
