Wow, you must trust your wife and/or the shop she'll take the car to.

My wife doesn't understand why I want a Mustang, let alone all the mods, and really wouldn't know how to find a shop and deal with them to have the mods done. My luck, the shop she selected would charge 2 large and I would have no tread left on the tires.

3. I plan to install the JTL Breather and Flash Tuner. Is that going to get rid of the Skip Shift?

This is my first Mustang and I want it to be right! I welcome all comments. Thanks, Bruno
The 1.5" Ford Racing K Springs kick ***, and you'll love them. You need 1.5" on S197's.

Those 49-state Ford Mufflers are decent, but you might want to look into other exhaust options like Magnaflow, especially since they're pretty much all going to be 49-state legal, T304 stainless steel, lifetime warranty, better sounding and Ford could care less about anything behind the cats.

The JLT CAI is awesome, and our custom tunes will eliminate the skip-shift "feature" as well as pick up tons of horsepower, driveability, throttle response, etc.

If you have any questions, you can always call Bama directly and speak right to our tuners who are here in the building Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST at 888.226.9764

I better trust the wife after 25 years. Anyway, I do have a good shop that does the work on my friends 65 Cobra. I'm having them put the Steeda products in and run it on their dyno: $450.00 labor. I expect good results but temper that with the fact that I always have to make mods to everything I have - a couple of Harleys are evidence of that. The wife is going to put the car in the garage and pine away for my return

You have yourself a good wife then. Few guys would trust their wives to do all that with their cars. Is she a car fan too?

Thumbs up 5.0 Mods

Here's what I did: Airaid CAI, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, SCT Bama 93 Tune and Ford Racing 1" Kit. Exhaust went in in 20 minutes, 1" Kit actually lowered the car by 1 5/8" and it handles like a go cart!
