Yeah, with a good tune that flattens out the torque all the way to redline, upshifting at or just below redline is what you want to do especially since the Coyote holds on to it's torque very well all the way to redline and even beyond.
A good example are the '12Boss302 engines. They hold onto their torque curves like white on rice to well above 7000rpm.
