I would say that too. I think almost another dozen other blower and turbo companies have made blowers specifically for the stock 5.0 Coyote with its very high CR and non-forged internals and they have been proven at the track.

Of course, the key is a proper tune and low boosts. The 11:1 CR does not require massive 15PSI+ boosts to make sick power.

What I want to see is the compression map of this bad boy!
identical twin screw lobe (TVS) compressors are supposed to be superior to any other helical screw lobe compressors.

How much $ $ $.

I can get a FRPP that makes 625hp (at the crank) w/ 9psi for ~ $7k and its covered by my warranty.

I have to pay an extra $1000 for a warranty for this one, what's the total package cost with warranty?

Pricing has not been released yet, as soon as it is released I will post it up here.

I'm pretty certain the FRPP kit that makes 525hp has a limited warranty, and the 624hp does not have any warranty whatsoever.

+1 The 525HP kit has a 12 month/12,000 mi. warranty that probably has limited coverage (though I don't know for sure), and the 624 HP version has zero warranty.

If that's true, buy the 525hp kit and up the boost aftermarket.
Just return it back to 525hp for service and warranty work.

I'd still prefer the FRPP option over a similarly priced aftermarket, but if the Edelbrock was significantly cheaper I might do it.

Does the Edelbrock recommend new forged connecting rods and lower compression pistons or does it just bolt on top of the stock engine?

11:1 is pretty high, I'd like to see a 10:1 or maybe even 9:1 piston put in there.

No internal engine modifications are necessary. Just bolt it on and go. Lower compression and forged would be nice, but not necessary.

Stock connecting rods will not survive forced induction.

According to page 4 caption under the connecting rod photo:

EDIT: what about a tune?

There are A LOT of 2011 GTs running around with forced induction. Ford Racing must believe in the connecting rods because they offer forced induction with a warranty.
