I tapped the limiter three times in the first 2600 miles on my 11GT and have had no problems what so ever.
I used to be a Porsche guy and the newer P-Car ECUs record both the total number of throttle related over-revs and any mechanical over-revs. They say that you void the warranty after three mechanical over-revs but there is no issue with throttle over-rev.
The point is, the rev limiter is there for a reason and that is to ensure your engine is protected from your right foot. A mechanical over-rev would happen if you missed your 3-4 shift and instead did a 3-2. In that case the ECU can't do anything to protect the engine from over-rev and then you're in trouble.
Your engine should be just fine.

Seen a video of someone doing that down the drag strip by accident. It wasn't pretty lol.

i hit the rev limiter in my 2003 mustang prob 200+ times, no issues
ive hit it in my 2011 atleast 50 times probably(mainly when missing 2nd gear), the stock tune really kills the power for a bit after hitting the limiter on the 2011+'s
