Get forged internals easy and drop the compression down for forced induction!

lol..its funny cause the 5.0s are a solid powerhouse to start with..

i thought the 5.0 could handle into the high 500hp to very low 600hp range?

DSS built my buddies 306 and it has handled 25 psi for about 3 years now at about 2000 miles per year.....great stuff.

I saw were Wiseco was working on a 5.8L stroker but the shotblock has new cylinder liners. It's probably way over priced for most of us.

The factory crank is forged but
It's nice to have "all" forged internals. The bearings should be rated for higher rpm too.

It does seem to handle just north of 600 hp, but this kit is for those who really want to go crazy and/or just want the extra durability. If you're going with a decent amount of FI and you want to do it right the first time, this looks like a pretty solid kit...not to mention the extra displacement.
