Coyote 5.0 with gt500 supercharger?
I have my 2011 GT500 on the bardge and should be here (alaska) tomorrow. I noticed there are alot of take off superchargers from the GT500's on ebay for around $300. Does anyone know what it takes to get them on the 5.0L? or if it has been done? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in advance.

I know what it takes to put a GT500 SC on the 4.6 and it is a lot of work with no mass produced intake manifold. Now that is being addressed it won't be bad for people in the future to do. I have no idea if anybody will ever make a manifold to put the GT500 SC on the current 5.0 I am not aware of one.

those eaton superchargers really aren't that good anyway. The expensive part of doing a supercharger is all of the extra stuff you need. Just look at a parts list for a $6,000 kit. so if all you are getting is the supercharger portion of it for $300 expect to spend atleast $3,000 more plus like 908ssp said, fabricating a manifold to mount it to it. Which probably wont be as efficient anyway. here you can see a pic of what you get with the 7,000 whipple kit, not a complete list of parts though, im having a tough time finding one http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...t---Black.html

Forget putting a GT500 blower on the coyote. That would be the stupidest thing to do considering all the major blower companies make a kit for our cars....
Edlebrock Eforce blower
Procharger
Vortech
Roush TVS
FRPP Whipple
Im sure kenne bell will be in the mix soon
Take your pick.

The Eaton GT500 blower happens to be a very good blower. Well suited for 450 to 500 RWHP. More than that and a bigger blower would be advantageous. The big advantage for those on a budget is an Eaton can save you significant money if you are capable of installing it from a bare bones kit. Estimate for a first class install run around $3500 on a 4.6 with the result a 450rwhp car that is a pleasure to drive like a normal car or you can simply smoke the tires off your choice. I don't think a manifold will be available for a 5.0 install for a long time if ever. By then all the Eatons may have been bought up.
