Swappable Gauge Cluster?

I actually like the base model cluster more than my premium cluster. I'm a fan of the black with lit up numbers. The white faceplate with the skinny old-timey looking numbers just doesn't do it for me. I'm waiting for some company to come out with aftermarket faceplates for these things. I absolutely love the gauges on the Boss 302 and GT500, but unfortunately those won't work.

I will upgrade to the premium gauges one day..

Here you can find them: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0
it only says 6 gauges ones for 3.7 and 5.4 I want my 5.0!

I really want to grab a premium cluster, I looked at partsguyed, I see that there is a 4 gauge for the 5.0 but not a 6 gauge? And even if I do get ahold of one, the installation seems easy its the matching mileage and stuff.. if the dealer cannot do it, ill be slightly doomed? its the only car I have hah, can't set it aside and wait for a mail-order milages match.

The cluster will fit, the dealer needs to program the cluster to the PCM which will adjust transmission and speedo for gears. The dealer CAN NOT program the mileage, so you should find one with similar mileage or you can purchase from a dealer and they send it out to a place that is certified to calibrate mileage
The gear ratios are also stored in the PCM.
Tuners cannot change mileage amounts.
The new module (cluster) will need to
be configured by the dealer so it will display
the parameters it was designed to display.
Avoid clusters out of 05-06 models as the
stepper motors like to go bad on those year
models.
