Default Using a floor Jack?

Have any of you used a floor jack to jack up your car? If so where are you placing it? I'm looking underneath the car with a flash light and I can't tell what is plastic and what is not.....and no I can't reach the middle parts underneath the car. This is in the front of the car, to change oil ect...

I use a floor jack all the time. For jacking the car up, I use the load bearing points, where the plastic rocker panel on the underside has square tabs cut out and you can feel the thin metal "slats" or strips.

I do not put the jack stands on those, I pit them on something more solid. On the front end, when I change my oil, I put them on the diagnol chassis brace bars just in front of the cats. See this link for a pic, these diagnol braces are painted black.

Thanks for the image, you talking about the spot right in front of the oil pan?

Actually, further out to the sides.

On these diagnol braces, there are "oval" or pill shaped cut-outs. These cut-outs are almost just in front of the cats and just behind the suspension A-arms.
The transverse brace that goes under the MT82 and conncects to the diagnol braces is whee these cut-outs line up.
