Default Warranty work already

Transmission whine and motor knock at startup and low rpms in every gear.

At ford as we speak - will update results

2011 GT with 5704K miles purchased last week, lol.

Did you test drive it before purchasing? When buying a used car your supposed to go through it 100%, than go through it again, and once more to be safe. Most likely the original owner had problems that ford wanted nothing to do with so he traded it in.

Look at his post count (also, I can see you've been around a while, too..), I don't think this was his first rodeo..

Maybe he got a steal on the car???

I think the excitement did not let me hear anything. It's got mufflers as well. The initial startup it was already warm from them taking out back; cleaning and filling up. I did not hear either until the next day.

It's under warranty, I don't mind nore am I complaining. Just a FYI for folks.

I paid a good amount for it, but my trade allowance was through the roof.

It's got some extras on it/done so it was worth it to me. Tint/exhaust $700 saved.

Please keep us updated. I think I might have the same issue. I plan to take it to the dealer soon. Bought mine used also with 1300 miles on it. These noises only began recently for me and I now have 14,000 miles on it.

Got a call:

Needs new motor and trans lol. They're still tearing it down, but advised both will most likely get replaced. They will have corp look at it and ok the work first. WHen they advise further I will let you know.

Exactly why I will not tune this one until the warranty is gone.

Gave me a 10 day rental......

DAYUM!!!!! Are you able to get the service advisor to pull the service history (I think called OASIS, but likely wrong) and see what that specific VIN has been to the dealer in the past for?

Hopefully everything will get recitified with no problems for you. Good luck.

Don
