Has anyone also experienced that downshifting into 2nd while turning requires a lot more effort to shift in, and also very clunky?

Take it in and get it looked at. This topic has been beaten to death ad nauseam.

Can you guys be a little specific on rough shifting? My 2012 was built around Sept 2012 and now had 4200 miles on it. I have missed the 3rd gear (couldn't get into 3rd from 2nd) on wot a few times. It's a little notchy from time to time but it doesn't takes extra effort to get into any gears. The transmission felt clunky from time to time if I don't pay attention to shifting..... I thought all of these are normal for a +400 ponies muscle car. Oh btw, to shift smoothy to lower gear while making turn, you might want to blip the throttle to rev match the car speed otherwise a jerky and clunky shift is a result. One thing I'm a little worry is the transmission whinning, it's sound like supper charge engine when the car accellerates hard. Normal accelleration seems to be normal.
BTW, this is the first manual tranny car I have in the last 20yrs. My first car (truck) was a manual and the it's a 4 banger 2.2L so it's far different than the 5.0 Mustang. So after 6 months of driving manual tranny I'm still re-learning how to drive smoothly. On the first day of owning the car while driving down the highway on 6 and I decided to drop to 4th without properly match the rpm scare the crap out of me, I thought the rear was locking up on me .

Shifter, fluid change, and shifter bracket will alleviate this right?
