Intake Air Temperature Sensor
My 2011 Mustang GT just threw a P0111 error code (Intake Air Temperature out of range). Here is the thing - it was like 110 degrees outside. Could that cause it, or do you think I really have an issue with the thermistor?
Any ideas?

Do you have a scanner with data logging capabilities? It will give you the actual inlet temp. Also, is your intake sucking air from the engine compartment or is it pulling it from the fender or under the front lip of the hood?
Engine compartment is my guess. High ambient conditions + traffic will cause a high intake temp. What it takes to throw that code, I have no idea.

supercharger + high ambient temp might be a problem, I'd monitor IAT's, high enough temps can cause detonation, leading to problems, even engine failure. datalog it while doing your normal driving. or get a good gauge that can show you different parameters and keep an eye on it.
