I would recommend heading over to the Lubrication subforum and read up over there... You'll learn that some are die-hard "use what's in the manual" and others are "what ever's cheaper at Wally World"... I personally use RP 5W30 and the Motorcraft FL500S filters... I am considering switching to AMSOIL but for now I can RP on Amazon cheaper.

Anything will do, as long as you use the appropriate change interval.

For me though, I tend to use Pennzoil Ultra or Mobil 1 Extended.

As stated above, oil is personal preference.

I use Royal Purple 5w20, takes about 8 quarts.

Don't have a coyote but I have lots of modded engines and don't use anything but RP or AMSOIL.. can't go wrong with either one.

modern oils are awesome compared to what was available just 15 years ago. You wont hurt your engine with most any choice.

5w20 10w30, whatever floats your boat, without precision oil temps you wont know whats best anyway.

Royal Purple, Amsoil, Mobile 1, motorcraft are all good. probably wont be able to go wrong with even penzoil or quaker state... my dad has been using penzoil in his 36 year old truck forever, still the original engine and it's been ran hard.

oil filters though its pretty clear you dont want to use Fram. motorcraft makes an excellent oil filter.

(I use mobil 1 5w20)

I ran Mobil 1 in my F-body for the 13 yrs I owned it and never had an issue.
The Mustang gets Penzoil Platinum and a Motorcraft FL500S.
