Any high mileage Coyotes out there?

Motor started knocking at about 18k, one dealer refused to look at it, and that is where I bought it. They said it was another dealers fault. The 'fault' dealer refused to even see the car w/ out a $200 deposit b/c "we can't be sure it's a warranty issue". Finally found a dealer that would look at it, find out that #2 rod bearing is shot. New motor finally put in at 25k.
If you have a tick that sounds like valve knock or anything close, take it in and have 'em check it out immediately.

2013 DD, 15k miles so far at about 10 months ownership. Drive it like I stole it and 0 issues so far mechanically. Not really modded yet just an Airaid CAI, but getting ready to install a new suspension to get rid of the 4x4 stance

ESP covers all of the "wear items" except tires and clutch. MFer keep "forgetting" to replace the foglight bulb and actuallying doing the maintenence like replacing the brake pads. I KNOW it's covered b/c I specifically asked about that when I got the ESP. ESP Girl: "Sir, everything is covered for the life of the car under your ownership or 150K miles; with the exception of the clutch and tires." Me: "So that is EVERYTHING? And I mean literally EVERYTHING." ESP Girl: "Yes Sir. Brakes, any and all light bulbs, wipers, airfilter, cabin airfilter, fluid changes, etc....all either as needed or per recommended intervals." Me: "Awesome. Tack it on."

I'm a bit surprised with the fact that the OP is asking for info on HIGH MILEAGE 5.0's and all I see are people with barely broken-in engines responding. MEANINGLESS.
Let's hear from the folks with over 100k or over 150k miles. THAT'S where the meaningful input should begin. With today's technology, even Yugo's would have racked up 100k miles with little problem.

30k miles is still a decent amount of mileage... all the way around this planet is 25k miles
and those people who do have like 100k + miles on their 5.0 probably have like 90% highway miles which actually mean nothing

not many people buy a 5.0 then drive 35-75k or 150k miles a year

I drive mine at least 40 miles a day on weekdays. Drive 160-200 miles to my parents (included there and back) to my parents..once every 2-3 months in winter.. and once a month (at least) in summer... and drove to Knoxville from STL and around Tennessee..then back.. a few years ago. Ive had my car since Sept 2010. You'd have to be a traveling salesman or commute like crazy to get more than 30,000-40,000 on these by now.

I would disagree with highway miles meaning nothing. While not as stressful on engine components as 1/4 mile runs and city driving, it is still cycling the engine, putting stress on the components and fatiguing the engine.
Given 2-3 years of production Nuke, 30-40k is probably as high of mileage that is going to be reported. But you have a valid point.
