Cold engine surges under light throttle
This is a '12 GT that, as far as I can tell, has no tunes or engine bolt on goodies. It's a minor problem, but when the engine is cold and I'm trying to just idle around the engine will surge violently. As an example, when I'm done with work and I'm slowly driving through the parking lot under 15MPH and the clutch is fully out the engine will act like I'm pressing and releasing the gas over and over again 'till I press the clutch and start over.
This doesn't happen when the engine is warm; when I arrive at work in the morning, I can drive around very slowly to my parking spot and there's no surging or anything surly like that.
Is this a known issue that I'm missing? Is it just something to live with? I found a thread mentioning something like this, but it was only after a tune. I don't know how to tell if my car has a tune or not, but since I can run well on good ol' 87 octane I don't think there's one installed.
